CTF IS BACK!! COD5 WORLD AT WAR!

CTF THE RETURN!!!

I have to admit folks that since the demise of COD2 we have been like a ship without a rudder. This aint to say that COD4 wasn't a great game, it was very good. However, we were definately missing our default gametype,  CTF. Yes, the wait has been long, but over the past 3-4 months as we awaited the release of COD5, the word on the street was that it would certainly have CTF included.

So Activision have definately seen the error of their ways and given us back the gametype we hold so dear. Infinity Ward made a fine job of COD4 but they should have been hung, drawn and fannywhacked for releasing the game without one of the 3 main gametypes. Thankfully Treyarch have remembered that you dont sell a product by excluding 20-30% of your targeted customers. The new release COD5 - World at War is set back in WWII again. Some of you will recall my horror when I had a run through the beta of this new game, thinking it resembled VC2 (heaven help us!!). I can confirm now though that the proper release is much better, the game still has it's flaws (poor sound, annoying voice overs and a catoony feel at times) but I'm sure alot of this is down to my Museum of Technolocigal Relics Coal PC. Never fear though, Rothy has decided to bite the bullet and invest in some mucho new hardware to keep the pimp leadin as it should be, slyck and stylish. The game's plus points? So far, I would say the return of CTF ^^, the return of bolt action rifles, very good maps and a less congested feel than COD4 (which allowed sit in a corner gamers to enjoy irritating the titties out of everyone in the server) are all big gains with this new game. And whilst I ain't 100% convinced yet, maybe a patch or 2 will sort out the niggles that are present thus far.

"Will we be heading into the ladders again Roth for more competitive gaming in our beloved gametype?" Without a doubt, and I am planning to increase the activity of the clan in 2009 and getting us back to a thriving community once again. To all you wonderful dedicated Pimpies, thanks from the heart for sticking with your family over the past year's testing times. It is much appreciated and things will get much more frantic as a result of the release of this game. Some of the old guns have been rearing their heads again with the news of CTF, Smiler's lovin the Zombie mode, Papi has told me he's very pleased with it so far, Slatz has been gaming alot more, and who knows even Officer DoccNipplets may bite tha bullet and grab some new hardware to come be with his fam again. I even had contact from our Italian Wonderstallion, Special Ops Wolfy!
